The room itself was great and a very comfy bed. Great location and could walk everywhere we wanted in the city very easily. Kitchen was great too and well stocked with bottled water always available. Staff were really kind and were offered to book us a taxi when we left. WiFi was good but slightly intermittent

Unfortunately our first few days were ruined by other guests shouting, singing, slamming doors etc late at night from 10pm - 2am and then again as early as 6am. Not entirely the hotel's fault but at no point did they ask them to be quiet without our complaints despite their own rules. Even if you don't have guests from hell, the doors/walls don't block much sound at all and you can hear even quiet conversation. The shower in our room was also the worst we've used since being in Mexico - awful water pressure, impossible to get the temperature to be anything other than really hot or cold, and worst of all during our whole stay would intermittently cut out in the middle of our showers and refuse to come back on without waiting another 5-10 minutes. A lamp beside the bed would also be good to avoided having the main light on before bed.

It was amazing here. The staff is so helpful and sweet. They helped us with tips and everything. We rebooked here too. It is close to the center we walked like 5-10 minutes. There is also a nice market nearby. We felt safe here too

Very comfortable room, quiet neighborhood, and still easy access to the city center. I enjoyed being able to prepare my own breakfast and the easiness of the whole stay. I was in Oaxaca for work, which implied I was out most of the day. It was the perfect place to stay.

Kind of expensive for what it is. I think this has to do with the area but if I compare this to other hotels/even bed&breakfasts nearby this is not worth the price you pay. The rooms could use a bit of a freshen up! Some fresh paint, new flooring (cause really old broken floor) and bathroom needs some newness as well (quite old, no shelves,..) Room had holes in the wall and door… overall some work to freshen things up! Room could also use some decoration like a little plant or something and a bedside table. Just some changes would go a long way…

Great location -- central but quiet, on a beautiful block. The staff was very responsive and the self-check-in was easy.

Place is nice and tidy, there is kitchen and water to use if needed. Location is good, close to everything!

Shower is not working the best.
