Blue Buffalo Resort

This place is amazing! We were 2 couples and all of us liked it very much! Our goal was to visit Yellowstone and the resort is located at a reasonable distance from the west entrance. The cabins are spacious, new and comfortable. Also, you are able to check in and out without waiting and/or interacting with anyone. Personally I loved it!

The breakfast! When we went for a breakfast, around 8:30 am, on the 2nd day, there was almost nothing! We got single waffle each and then watched how at least 10 people passed, and went out with nothing over the next ~15 minutes. The staff would start bringing stuff at some point, but we're talking about 5 small yogurts, then some 5 minutes later they'd show up with 200 grams of bacon that was thin as a razor blade. We had to wait around 20-25 mins before they brought some scrambled eggs. Keep in mind the breakfast is from 7am to 10am. They call the breakfast the most important meal of the day. Imagine how important it is when you visit some place with the intention to hike for hours. Also, time is of essence! You go to have food for 15 mins and get on with whatever you have planned. Making people waiting for food, and/or leaving without eating, is unacceptable!!! Also, the breakfast was generally poor in terms of options. And then it is the small space. The enclosed patio, where we had the breakfast, is generally small for the size of the resort in my opinion. Somw people might say "What do you expect for this price?". And I'd respond: "More". Because in reality the price we paid was relatively low, but I've been in 10s of countries and other popular destinations, where I paid similar or less and they were offering much more breakfast options.

Everything! Clean, comfortable, beautiful surroundings, and so many amenities included...bear spray, bag of ice, fire pit, board games, smores and more! Good breakfast (included) and great pizza (reasonably priced). Only 30 minutes from Yellowstone's west entrance. Away from the congestion.

Cabin was wonderful

Couldn't use the free breakfast due to location was upstairs. Family couldn't climb the stairs.
