非常安靜，因為地處偏僻；因為四天三夜，除了我，沒有其他人入住。甚至旁邊的民宿到晚上也都沒有亮燈。

無櫃檯人員。到達時用電話引導入住與找房間。房門上的一字型手把沒有固定好，握起來搖搖晃晃的，鑰匙插上轉半圈就"鎖"上，比較像是扣住而已！！！門房安全主打一個民心純樸。房間裡原有兩個吊燈，但是拆下一個，那個固定吊燈的洞就用一塊白布塞住。●●●這家民宿業主(九份山旅)說九份夜間導覽一定要透過民宿報名理由是 1) 要買保險。2) 要向旅遊品保協會登記。謊話連篇！！！晚上 7:45 到導覽現場報名繳費即可。每團人數約20人，導覽人員說人太多會影響解說品質。可事先報名以便統記人數。

步行約8分鐘可以到一處較少人去的景觀平台, 選擇在即將日落時刻過去, 停留半小時可以欣賞日落天色變藍與山城燈光點綴的景色建議晚上八點半後, 觀光客人潮逐漸散去, 再走去基山街口的便利商店買隔天早上要吃的早餐回來放在冰箱內
