Hotel Boutique La Posada

The hotel is beautifully decorated and has an amazing inner courtyard with a good restaurant. The bedrooms are quite spacious and the staff is quite friendly. The location was very walkable. We could get to a wide variety of restaurants and to museums in the downtown core within 10 minites. The only thing that was a little challenging for us was the parking. We have a Toyota Forerunner with a Tule on top and we could not park in the garage beside the hotel as our vehicle needed secure parking with higher clearance. They could provide us with such a garage about three blocks away. The parking location was good. The problem with the parking was that they closed at 3:30 pm. If we needed anything from our truck after that time, it was not to coordinate with the hotel to get access to our vehicle. This inability to get access ro our stuff when we need to was somwwhat frustrating. Having mentioned our issues with parking, we loved everything else about the hotel and would highly recommend it. It really is a charming place to stay while enjoying the lovely town of Sucre.

Quarto grande e confortável, limpeza boa e estrutura em geral. Localização sensacional também. O hotel é muito bonito.

Achamos o café da manhã um pouco simples, principalmente contando que o restaurante deles para almoço é muito bom e tem um café na entrada muito bom também!

Todo. La ubicación del hotel es perfecta para conocer el centro de Sucre y poder recorrer a pie los principales sitios de interés. Además resulta fácil encontrar tiendas, restaurantes, bancos, etc. a pocos minutos a pie. La habitación superó nuestras expectativas. Coqueta, limpia, tamaño adecuado, silenciosa, con una cama muy cómoda y luminosa. El baño no tenemos queja tampoco y contaba con todo lo necesario. El personal del hotel estuvo disponible en todo momento a facilitarnos información o resolver las dudas que pudieramos tener y, nos facilitaron el proceso de check in y Check out sin problemas. Incluida la realización del pago en USD según la tarifa acordada en booking. El hotel cuenta con restaurante, no disfrutamos de el, pero podemos decir que el desayuno era abundante y con suficientes opciones.

Location

The hotel charged us almost double the original quoted price. The original quote was in US$ only, when checked in, they refused to swipe my card to pay for US$. On check out, the amount in local currency mysteriously became available, and insisted it was the same as the original US$ amount. Upon checking credit card charge, just realised the amount was almost doubled. Very dishonest.

Very good hotel with lovely staff and rooms were comfy. We got off our night bus that arrived at 6am, and without any extra charge for early check in, were shown to our room as it was available.

There is noise from nearby bars, but you are very central to the main square. Not requiring earplugs but some might wish to use.
