Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Canton by IHG

Property was clean and staff was kind and accommodating. The morning breakfast is a plus especially when traveling with children. And it’s located next to a large commercial area with many dining options.

Clean and friendly staff. Good location to Reinhardt University for college visit. My card key did not work twice and the comforter was thin but overall a comfortable stay and would stay again.

I have nothing to complain about this property. In fact it’s the opposite. It’s very very good very clean very modern very good staff and excellent choice for the price.

Needs attention in the restrooms

The property was nice but I booked this stay through Expedia and paid in full days prior. When i checked in i gad to provide a card as usual. The next day i was hit with another charge of $99. Management couldn't explain why this happened and refused to refund my card.

Dirty hotel with non-caring management and front desk staff!! I checked into this hotel on Dec 24th after a 10 hour drive from Florida. I had a 2 night reservation. The room though very basic looked OK in the evening. I did then go into the bathroom and there was what looked like a ‘personal area’ hair in the sink - pretty gross. I took a picture and went down to the front desk to ask to be moved or to have someone come up and clean the bathroom as it looked like it hadn’t been done. I was told no and that there was no one available and no other rooms were offered. I asked for disinfectant so that I could clean the room myself - told no. I asked if the room would be cleaned for the 2nd night and was told again, No since it was Xmas there was no cleaning staff available. I asked to speak with a manager and was told that there wasn’t a manager that they could contact or one that I could speak with. I asked for the managers name and was pointed to a stack of business cards across the lobby that I could pick through to find out who it was. I retrieve the managers card and sent her an email (I still have not received a response to this email from 2 weeks ago). Next day, Xmas day, I went to a gathering and upon my return the room was cleaned, the hair was gone. However, there was a blood stain on one of the pillow cases. Retribution maybe from having my dirty room cleaned by the cleaning crew when they didn’t want to?? But anyways, I brought the blood stained pillow to the front desk - again, they couldn’t care less and didn’t even offer me either an apology or a new pillow. If there were other hotels in the area with availability I would have left. But I did call and contact IHG directly through their website. I was told not to worry and that the manager would be there when I checked out on the 26th to discuss the incidents. When I checked out, guess what, no manager. When I asked for the manager I was told that they were on vacation until 12/30 and unreachable. I just give up with this hotel and you should too. This property, its management team, and its front desk staff do indeed tarnish the IHG name and if there are other complaints like mine, have their franchise revoked and at a minimum have this manager reassigned!
