"Very clean motel but not quiet in the evenings"

Property was a spacious 1 bedroom apartment Close to the bus stop to go to St Petersburg Nice coffee shop 5 min walk Super clean Fast wifi The staff was really nice Hard mattress

Toasted Monkey bar plays live music every day, and it's really loud in the evenings between 6pm and 10.30pm or 11.45pm on a Saturday. The music is unnecessarily loud, not property fault, but it's hard to relax in the evening. Also, not the owners fault, but there are some derelic boarded up buildings in close proximity (aftermath of hurricanes in 2024) so it looks a sketchy at first but overall area seems safe. Though walking alone after dark as a single woman may feel a bit dodgy but overall, residents around were safe.

The location was close to many restaurants and definitely walkable to the beach. The sunset viewing was spectacular and is only steps away. The property was well maintained and provided all the amenities for a very comfortable vacation. The 1 bedroom unit we stayed in was perfectly adequate for the 2 of us in terms of space. The kitchen was renovated with practically new appliances and accessories. The property managers were fantastic and extremely accommodating.

The pool was too cold to enjoy in Dec/Jan, although some guests didn’t seem to mind as much.
