Goede locatie en schitterende kamers met veek rust in het centrum van Antwerpen. Het ontbijt buffet was goed en het personeel is erg vriendelijk!

Weekend staff need training

We booked a 3 night stay at this beautiful property during our first trip to Belgium/Antwerp while visiting family at the beginning of a 18 day trip through Europe. We are loyal Marriott customers and were graciously welcomed with a room upgrade because of our loyalty. After a long 20 hr travel day., this was a very welcome surprise. We absolutely loved this property. Our guest room was very spacious, clean and stocked with all of the necessary amenities and then some. The staff from the front desk, bartenders and restaurant were all very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff gave great recommendations on things to do nearby. The hotel location is great, close to great shopping and restaurants and the historic district while at the same time situated on a quiet street. We enjoyed the courtyard area as well as the bar and the other common areas of the hotel. The only thing that did not wow us was the breakfast which we just included during one day of our stay, it was pretty pricey for average food, I would suggest that there are better options outside, close to the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay at this property again if our travels take us back to Antwerp.

Die Lage des Hotels ist zentral und sehr gut. Die Ausstattung im Zimmer soweit auch, vor allem das Badezimmer und das separate WC.

Für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel hätten wir uns mehr gewünscht. Der Service (Rezeption) und die Freundlichkeit waren durchschnittlich, wie auch das Frühstücksbuffet. Das Parkhaus mit Euro 32.- doch eher teuer.

Breakfast was good, the terrace was nice and airy, the room was quiet, parking below the hotel

Staff was not particularly well trained (receptionist was not speaking clearly and when I stated my name, I was asked immediately for my Passport before checking my reservation; other customer arguing that her room had not been cleaned for 3 hours though it was agreed and the receptionist answered "we are doing our best"; being seated for breakfast and no order taken for 10 minutes, happened to other tables as well; staff phoning loudly about irrelavant things to customers sitting quietly;...) Not what you would expect in a 5 star hotel

The location was great, the design and style of the interior was beautiful. Big bathroom and comfortable bed

The attention to detail was very poor for a five star hotel. When we arrived the soap dispenser in the toilet was empty. The kettle didn't work. the used cups weren't moved or washed when the room was cleaned. The bed side lamp came apart in my hands. My crumples nightdress was left in a ball inside the bed after room cleaning. And worst of all we experienced terible sleep for 3 out of our 4 days due to the extreme partying noise from FIERA next door.

Amazing location. Great bed.
