AUAUReally pleasantly surprised. Our cabin was lovely. The park was very green and well kept and the cabins were arranged around lawn and the pool. We wished we were staying longer than the one night! The park sent text messages before we arrived warning of an impending storm and that the low level bridge was closed - I appreciated the thoroughness. We arrived after hours but it was not problem. I accidentally left an item in the cabin and was able to collect it a few days later. Thanks for that! It was February, so not at all peak season, and it was very quiet with hardly anyone else there and lots of wallabies hopping around in the evening - it might not be like this in school holidays.
I was sleeping on the bunk bed and it was a bit squeaky - as metal bunk beds are. I felt I was annoying my colleague who was sleeping above. No where to put anything in the shower recess. No soap dish or shelf for anything.
AUAUAUA nice hidden retreat with a very large pool in a tropical/rainforest setting. It was lovely to listen to the sounds of the animals in the evening. The grounds are well kept. The cabin was tidy and comfortable and had everything we needed for a stopover.
The shower head needs replacing. Very minor.
