"Disappointing stay"

Clean hotel and room, good facilities and comfortable bed.

This hotel is not as close to Chandigarh airport as suggested. By taxi it was 15minutes. Staff on reception were not particularly welcoming. The food and drink in the restaurant was expensive in relation to Indian prices. The restaurant/ bar area was chilly. There was a birthday party for a 2 year old! The loud music/band started around 9.30pm. Our room was on the 4th floor and it was excessively loud. By 1030pm it was unbearable so we rang reception to see what time it was finishing. We recorded the noise as we travel extensively and have never heard anything like this. Soon after I rang reception it quietened down. It felt like it was going on in the lobby but it must have been in a room where they eventually closed the doors! I'm sure other guests must have complained. There was no mention of this on check out or questioning us re our stay. Very disappointed that a well known and respected brand had no interest in its guests
