Tom Quick Inn

Very nice

This historic inn is beautifully restored and maintained, and the staff are personable and professional. There is a largely deserted bar with generously priced cocktails to slake the thirsty traveler - good bartender. The rooms have a mini-fridge, but in the hot summer months management finds it prohibitive to comp guests with a pair of plastic bottles of water, which is a shame. Room 1 is bathed all night in a bright green light from a compressor parked outside the window that runs relentlessly. Like sleeping next to an idling locomotive. Stored in the room safe was a stick of someone's deodorant. Interesting. Made us wonder what kind of person that was. Breakfast in the neighboring Hotel Fauchere consisted of cold scrambled eggs and cold bacon. The coffee was okay. It's a stuffy atmosphere, but worth checking out.

Our room was in the Tom Quick Inn, which is affiliated or owned by the Fauchere hotel next door. Our room was good, a little funky. We had dinner on the porch of the Fauchere, which was wonderful. The included breakfast at the Fauchere was wonderful too and was in their elegant breakfast room. It was raining heavily in the morning so we didn't walk around Milford. We will have to come back

My “filet mignon’ came in three separate pieces and tasted “put together “. It definitely had meat glue - the entire meal was bizarre to say the least. This place is so inconsistent and I will never eat there again. I’ve had too many weird food experiences. No more. I am done with this “sysco” restaurant.

The inn is nice, room was good size and clean. We had dinner downstairs and were disappointed. The special was swordfish but after trying to cut it I realized it had been frozen. The chef was great at trying to fix things, which I appreciated. But it didn’t get taken off our bill, which it should have. We ate on the porch, which was very nice, and our server Natalie was very friendly. But the special just wasn’t, unfortunately.

Old hotel with history in a very nice small town. You must check in at Hotel Fauchere two buildings down the street. Staff friendly and helpful. Must walk up to second floor. Street side is a little noisy with traffic. Everything clean, fresh. One complaint...the pillows are way too firm. But thats why i alwsys bring my own.

We had a nice stay at the Tom Quick and enjoyed appetizers and cocktails in the bar. The Splendora paintings throughout were a nice touch.
