The Baker Hotel

The old hotel definitely has charm and has been tastefully renovated.

I found the building to be noisy. Not from outside traffic, but from people walking and talking in the hallways. There seemed to be a lot of mechanical noises throughout the night as well. I booked an executive suite and was disappointed to say the least considering the rate. I had a fantastic view of a brick wall and a flock of pigeons. The bed on the other hand was quite comfortable and the bathroom was nicely renovated. As well, the staff that I encountered were fantastic and very friendly. Given the age of the building, I suppose one can only expect so much. I guess for almost $200 after taxes for 1 night, I expected more.

вид из окна был на стену, может быть вам на стене разместить картину поезда или чего-то связанного с городом будет намного приятнее смотреть в окно нежели чем в стену на расстоянии одного метра

It had some charm, the art deco theme was nice.

Fenêtre très sale, on m’a attribué une chambre au 3 étage sans ascenseur premier escalier 21 marche le deuxième 17 marches, j’ai demandé d’avoir une autre chambre réponse vous n’avez pas louer avec nous donc vous prenez cet chambre je ne peux la changer , j’ai offert plus d’argent mais rien à faire, le bruit de la rue et de la ventilation semblait attiré dans la chambre 307 impossible de changer j’ai 69 ans et mal aux genoux donc pas facile cet hotel
