Somewhere Inn Calabogie Boutique Hotel

Very trendy inn with spacious outdoor facilities and well thought out interior design. We liked the selection of Ontario made products, and were pleasantly surprised at the live music performance during our long weekend stay. Staff is very pleasant and personable. The walls are a bit thin and airconditioning runs loud during summer nights. Not Somewhere Inn’s fault, but if the weather is inclement, there are limited things to do in the area and at their property. One note to management — the door leading to the lounge area swings inwards, would it not be better outwards? The way it currently swings, if you are on the steps, you are pulling the door towards you and could cause a fall if not careful. Thinking of older clients and young children (we are neither). Overall, comfortable stay and pleasant room, well maintained front lawn, and nice staff. Well worth it for dog owners and serious hikers.

Rooms were clean

Price included breakfast, but was told it was too late to make the preparations, so wasn’t offered any options, even though we had arrived at 8:15 pm, the onsite reception hut was vacant until 5 minutes before closing and was told that it was too late and that it was already 3 minutes past closing. At the very steep price point for the accommodations and to be treated as we were a burden more than a customer was very distasteful and rude. With absolutely no care for their customers or service is at best a 2 star room and unsure how this location is rated at 5 is absolutely ridiculous. I’ll 100% be steering anyone I know clear from this scam.

We absolutely loved our stay at Somewhere Inn. The room was amazing, the staff communicated with us every morning and late afternoon via text to see if we needed anything. They had a balloon and a few treats for my husband for his birthday along with a nice card. The area is great for hiking and the property is beautiful and complete with some outdoor games. We happened to be there for the hottest week of the summer and the air conditioner managed to keep up just beautifully.

There were no blinds on two of the windows which made for very early mornings. If they could just put some blinds on those windows the place would be absolutely perfect.

Exactly as advertised. A wonderful place, welcoming, clean and modern.

Enjoyed the sauna and cold pool. Beds were very comfortable. Nice to have a gas fireplace in the room. Loved the shower. The room was very clean. (Except for chair.) The women working there were very nice and helpful for making reservations for dinner.

The weather wasn’t great, so without a tv in the room, there wasn’t much to do. The one chair in the room was filthy. It was a little concerning that nobody was on the property after 6:00. My friend and I wondered what we would’ve done if we forgot our room code after being at the sauna.
