"Basic good value hotel"

Basic but functional, close to city centre a few minutes walk. Friendly staff. Now no breakfast but plenty of places close by

The staff at Roadhouse hotel was very welcoming, and the hotel was cozy and functional with a comfortable bed. It was very suitable for a one-person one-night stay in the middle of the week. Despite being above a pub, it was peaceful and not very loud at all

the bathroom felt like it was in disrepair and I neglected showering for this reason. sitting on the toilet was also awkward as it was directly next to a wall, so I had to sit sideways.
