La Junta Colorado Cabins

Loved the theme and the rustic cabin feel while being a comfortable and luxurious stay. All the amenities where there and could park right in front. Even better because it has been raining here and I didn't want to get my stuff dirty. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the rest of the camp grounds.

Had to get over a large rain puddle in front of the bath house to brush teeth and shower. Doubt that's a normal feature. It had been raining a lot.

Cute little cabin. Nice outdoor picnic table and chairs, fire pit.

Shower— difficult to adjust temperature

Quiet campground. Cute train caboose cabin. Very comfortable.

Couldnt get accent lights to work. May have been just my ignorance.

The tv barely worked because of poor connection. Got into total recall, then it froze and wouldnt start again so I was pretty mad. Haven't seen that moving in forever

We needed a olace to lay our heads for our drive to Kansas. We initially booked tge Yellow cabin, which Hotels.com said had two bathrooms. What was not made clear by Hotels.com was that those bathrooms were the campground community bathrooms. I called the KOA directly and they had one other cabin left with a private bathroom and a loft (the Green cabin). Check-in was very easy and the host was very kind and gracious. Our cabin was small, but awesome. Small kitchen, small but private bathroom with a good shower. The loft doesn't have a bed, so we took a small inflatable mattress for our daughter. They do have small sleeping pads available but they aren't great. Loved having the privacy of the cabin without worrying who was above ir below us. We would absolutely stay there again.

Was not good initially the chosen cabin had no running water bathroom and we're upgraded to a smaller cabin not told about a deposit to last minute

A very nice reprieve from hotel rooms. Very quiet. Super dog-friendly & a clean little cabin with a very comfortable mattress. It was wonderful to be able to control the temperature so well with the heater/air conditioner in the wall (actually a "mini" heat pump"). The ceiling fan above was great for air circulation. My husband & I were very happy with our accommodations here & would definitely recommend this little cabin to others.
