Tropical Isle Hotel in Hollywood, FL is not as advertised on the website. The pictures online may have been taken years ago when the building was in better condition but do not depict the place now. The manager was extremely friendly and nice during our stay but the accommodations were not up to par. The building is in major need of renovations. The bathroom in particular had mold and rust stains. The stove in the kitchen area was rusty and the walls, doors, and baseboards are ragged and dirty. I also did not feel safe staying here after seeing some of the other clientele. I have learned my lesson about finding a discounted price. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. I have no idea where all of these people making raving reviews about this property are staying because itโ€™s definitely nothing like they say it is. I would not come back and do not recommended.
