Hotel B Urban Xaman by Fontán Reforma

Loved the suites. Everything had character and it was in a perfect location. Close to museums and other attractions but away from noise except the occasional siren. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful

Lighting needs to be better in the bathrooms and a few standing lamps wouldn’t go amiss. Occasionally a sewage smell from the drains in the bathroom.

It’s very clean and the breakfast is very good. There’s coffee and tea making facilities in the bedroom.

It’s noisy. You can hear everyone in the corridors. The Downtown area that the hotel is based in (it’s not in Reforma despite the name) was very very busy over Christmas when I visited. There isn’t much around in terms of restaurants or places to go in the evening. It is super convenient to get into the centre so great for sightseeing if you only had a night or two

Location is in the central historic district so easy walking distance to lots of things to see and do. Hotel restaurant was good, especially the buffet breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Situation. Very close to Metro, bus and the Historical Centre

Roof top I felt was misrepresented. Noisy and smaller than I expected. No character to the hotel. But I probably shouldn’t expect that

Incredible views. Kind staff. Rooftop terrace with outstanding view of reforma and the city. The meditation was really sweet. We took a 7pm yoga class with Irais that was wonderful. The concept of the hotel is very cool and the execution is well done. The lobby is charming with great prices on trinkets from across Mexico. The staff throughout the whole hotel provide a top level of service, from the valet to the bellhop, to the front desk, etc.

It’s not the most comfortable bed, but not bad. Two glasses of white wine on the rooftop were over 500 pesos, but I suppose you’re paying for the view.
