The Old Bear exceeded my old expectations: the lovely location, the comfortable and homely room, the warm and hospitable hosts, the superb home-cooked breakfast and goodies, and the proximity to a great restaurant for cocktails and dinner. We would love to come back some day.

The couple who run it are two of the nicest people I've ever met! Wonderful to talk to and also gain insight on the surrounding areas, businesses and restaurants. We absolutely loved our stay! ☆☆☆☆☆

"Subpar"

Location.

Fact that coffee was so slow with the old coffee maker nit available until 8 am. Dirty baseboard in bathroom. Soap shot out like water in bathroom and got my wife in the eye which just healed Thursday from Saturday. Pillows seem old and smelly. Covered them with towels. No TV other than main areas where owners hung out. Very low toilet for a tall man. Breakfast was okay, not healthy choices.
