Sunrise View - Beachfront Apartment, Weymouth

Location was perfect - added bonus was a parking pass! Nice and clean and everything we needed !

The front door is really hard to open and shut!

The apartment suited our requirements very well. It was well equipped And tastefully furnished.

The location and view were both excellent. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend.

The noise from the apartment above, especially the washing machine on at all times of the night was annoying but owner had no control over that.

Great stay at this apartment in Weymouth, highly recommended. We enjoyed the great location and cleanliness of the apartment. Parking was also very convenient.

When booking this property and any property for that matter, the main thing I look for is cleanliness and parking, having read the description and looking at the reviews it states parking and the reviews gave it over a 9! How is beyond me, the kitchen utensils were dirty, there were marks over the sofa and carpet, much and dust on the skirting boards, tiles and around the shower was grim! To add insult I could not get parked in the zoned area! Therefore I had to work at my sister in law’s a 10 minute drive away and pay for taxis! When messaging the host to state I could not get parked! I had no response, terrible!! I would not stay here again. Also if you have kids that like to watch the tv, don’t stay here, the tv sound is distorted, definitely needs an upgrade and a very good clean!!

Location, location, location, and view,view, view! This apartment was an easy walk from the train station, and it is called Sunrise for a reason. Get up and don’t miss it! Tea bags and sugar were on premises. A nice touch was a welcoming package of biscuits on the kitchen counter. There is a MacDonalds close to the train station, if you are so inclined. We had an enjoyable meal at the Old Room restaurant. Don’t miss going to Portland to the WW2 museum…especially for Americans. This museum allows you to touch and see and experience D-day. Did not realize the Americans who went to Omaha beach on D-day left from Weymouth. Highly informative and very moving displays.

Overall the apartment was very clean and decorated nicely…except the carpets…probably due to end of season and yet to be cleaned (our stay was in early October). Did NOT like climbing the stairs….a bit tough for seniors, so be forewarned! My mistake…the UK uses a floor 0, and I thought that an apartment on the second floor meant only one flight of stairs….when it is really 2 flights! 😩

The location was excellent for what we wanted. We could hear the sound of the sea, which was fantastic. Everything we needed was in walking distance.

This question is not applicable to me, as I was happy with everything.
