Tidy, clean and quiet room

This is definitely a golden egg given usually Hotel/Pub type accommodation generally doesn't have much of a hype. However, the motel aspect did not feel like it was part of a Pub. It was clean, neat and tidy and just had those little extras that make it next level. Pop up power and charging dock, warm lighting options, window that opens (with bars for security), big tv with streaming services you can login to, king size bed in our room, big mugs as an option for tea/coffee (little ones too but big ones are a bonus), spacious bathroom. We had the window open and yes, could hear the hum of traffic, but only low and not a bother. I'd imagine with the window closed it would be barely noticeable. We were the last room towards the back of the building downstairs though. Easy parking that felt secure and no worries about height (we had an item for a supplier on top of our vehicle) as it was in open carpark. Bonus - the pub is a really lovely pub. Bistro was amazing food (we had chicken snitty & bangers and mash) and such big servings. Multiple areas to dine in for different vibes. All in all - very happy with the stay.

I brought my own porridge for breakfast and alas was surpised there was no microwave. I get the reason - probably to draw people to the pub for dinner, but it would have been nice.

Ease of processing either reception, clean, spacious room, quiet surrounds and a comfy bed.

The hotel was lovely—modern, clean, and very well presented. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. The only small downside was the pillows, which could be improved, but overall it was a really enjoyable stay.
