Balkon Boutique Hotel

It has a lot of potential to be a great hotel, it’s only a 10 minute walk to the centre and there are nice cafes/bars nearby that are less pricey but great quality. The pool area would be perfect with a bit of TLC. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff were all very friendly. We really appreciated the water and coffee station in the lobby.

All of the facilities are in a bit of disrepair such as the elevator and the pool tiles. We stayed for 4 days and managed to have a hot shower just once, we asked staff twice about it but the only answer we got was to try turning the tap in the other direction. It felt like the hotel was in need of some investment to make necessary improvements which is a shame because it has potential to be a great place to stay on holiday.

We didn't stay in this hotel. We stayed in its sister hotel. We extended our vacation by 2 days and decided to book this hotel. The sister hotel doesn't have a pool, so we were able to use their rooftop pool. As we went, we noticed the location was BAD and the roof top was worn out, the pool was small and missing so many tiles. We decided to cancel the reservation and just stay at the sister hotel, forget the pool, and drive to Tulum to swim

This Hotel Was A stopover for me traveling to cancun airport from Tulum, a bit of a side road but close to playa 72 which has stunning sun rises & great coffee shop that opens at 6am, the hotel room spaceous clean nice style and great value for money… I would go back
