Lovely village. Excellent communication with the hosts Jackie and Dominic. Very quiet and peaceful accommodations in terrific leafy surrounds. Just a very smooth process and a lovely relaxing weekend away in great comfort. Highly recommend.

Location was ideal as close to our daughter, who we were visiting.

Minor points, but would have appreciated a couple of egg cups. Also a holder in the shower for shampoo and shower gel. Once you get past a certain age, the shower tray is not a convenient place. Access via the spiral staircase to the upstairs bedroom is only really suitable for the young! But Jackie made this clear before our arrival.

The cottage was very cosy and comfortable with a lovely garden at the back. Would definitely recommend to other friends.

The Wifi was not working at times and was very weak overall.

It was really only one open plan room and a bathroom. If anyone were to book for the full capacity of 4 people plus a small sofa double there would be no privacy within the property. The only entrance/exit was the door. The velux type windows would not give fire exit and the other windows did not open at all! There were 2 doors that I think led to other areas in the building but we had no idea who had access through them so this was a security risk. The “characterful “ spiral staircase was very small and narrow with a low beam in a place where it was likely to injure your head if you forgot to duck. Fortunately we were accommodated down stairs so avoided going up except to maintain ventilation through the window. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone with limited mobility. Finally,in comparison to a property that we stayed in recently, this was small and expensive for what was provided.

Good for walks, and some where to eat near by.
