Holiday Motel Lordsburg I-10

No breakfast, no tub plug so could not bathe. No toilet paper, Trains close and very loud all night could not get hardly any sleep, ice and laundry room stunk like a sewerage plant. Floors were filthy.

They need to replace the beds, so uncomfortable. Very springy! Lamps by the bed did not work. It was clean, but thats all i can say good about it.

Hotel is by the train tracks so the noise of trains at night is unbearable. The person at the front desk was not in his best mood. Area around the hotel is empty and lots of abandoned buildings. Doesn’t look safe.

We read lots of reviews for this area, and decided to check out the place before we booked. We were met by the manager and he encouraged us to book online to get the best price. The room was comfortable and clean. The motel is in the process of being renovated, and our room was nicely done. I loved the flowered sheets, “real” pillows and fluffy towels. It was a great place to stay. The parking lot was well lighted, and one where you pulled right up to the door. We would stay again.

The location has positives and negatives. It is in a run down, semi abandoned part of town, but that made it quieter and made me less worried about vandalism or theft. However, the train tracks are across the street, so the train is loud. I heard it the first time, but the rest of the night I was able to tune it out.

Perfect for sleeping and that's all I needed. Train nearby.

Bates Motel vibes. The property was nicely lit and seemed safe enough. The numerous dead and live flies in my hot and humid room gave me the creeps. Had to dust off long hair and stuff from the sheets. Water pressure and hot water were great. The room cooled quickly once I had the AC on. Just needed a spot to rest after a long drive but I would look for other options before staying here again.
