Spark by Hilton London Romford

The location was fantastic, being literally next to the train station.

The room was extremely small. There was no desk or even a chair to sit on. The air conditioning controls were very hard to figure out. The are no instruction leaflets anywhere in the room.

Nothing about this stay was good

My husband and I stayed but we did not like Booking.com services as the staff of spark said that there were no rooms available for us in the middle of the night we had to be relocated. I want to dispute my booking. when I arrived, the hotel management said that they had contacted booking.com to relocate us. after waiting for ages, they provided a standard room, which was NOT CLEAN up and was a mess. The bed sheets were dirty. Hair on the floor. Toilet filthy and room too smelly. It was such a small room that we could not even mive there. We did not book that room. they apologized and asked us to accommodate for the night. it was a horrendous night. they accused booking.com and said that they had let you know that there were no rooms available and noone informed us. we had paid in advance.

Location

Entrance into street. Drunk people sitting inside behaving aggressively No option in breakfast. I just wanted yogurt and a coffee or some toast. Was refused

The area is clean and staff are amazing...

Enjoyed my stay .all staff both day and night shift were very accommodating and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The amazing bar staff were very welcoming and friendly and as a woman staying on her own made me feel welcome and safe.
