Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Summerside

Nice, newer hotel in a good location close to the water front. Staff were very friendly and breakfast had a good variety. Temperature control was difficult to figure out….took quite a while to get warm.

Was really pet friendly with green space outside the doors and a garden hose and garbage can at the front of the hotel. Appreciated that the room fridges have freezers. Would be great if there were tables just outside of the breakfast area where guests could sit to eat with their dogs.

Price was good economical. Staff was wonderful !

A few issues. The bathroom in our room was very dirty and stained, the shower head sprayed water all over the bathroom. When getting towels for the pool they were hand towels. The lady who did our check in was not friendly and seemed to be annoyed when we asked for fresh towels or anything of her. The breakfast was bland and not many options either. Overall I was happy with our stay I’m glad we booked on hotels.com bc it wasn’t worth the full rate

One day into a 2 night stay, the hotel disabled our room key and wifi. The wifi was very slow. The second day our wifi was disabled again. We found it frustrating. The dining area was small and crowded. The pool and hot tub were actually in a large recreational complex next door that was open to the public and was very noisy and inconvenient to access.

My room was large and comfortable. The hotel is part of a large sports complex which has a lot of exercise equipment and two restaurants.

A little bit far from the center of town, shopping and restaurants.

I always sleep well when staying at this hotel, tbe beds are very comfortable, and clean.
