Gateway Inn

it was a terrible place ,when we drove up the whole area was dark, there were several lights on the whole area, there were three cars parked next to the hotel ,the hotel was in the dark and to be honest, I was even afraid to leave the car there and I didn’t even go inside, i went found another place, I don’t know why they don’t describe the location of this hotel for people, but I would not advise anyone to go, it looked like some abandoned village. I do not advise anyone to take an overnight stay there.

Quiet, clean, convenient

Close to Lake Shelbyville. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

Hotel is old but kept up well. Clean as can be for age. Needs coffee in rooms. But, best of all - beds are very very comfortable and pillows are fluffy and oh so comfortable. Better than most 5 star for a good nights sleep.

They are so accommodating for us with staying in yours close to boat and friends

Room had a bit of a musty odor because the refrigerator did not cool. Nothing fancy but we got a good night sleep.
