We’ve been here three times in total over the last two years always so nice and calm and relaxing normally.

This time we stayed a one night last minute. Previous times we’ve stayed for a week at the safari lodges which was amazing! I understand they have weddings but Saturday night we couldn’t get the baby to sleep till midnight because the music was horrifically loud and a singer not to be a party pooper but they should seperate the weddings from the family holidays. Out 1 year old is normally sleeping by 8 it was very challenging. Especially as we booked this one night on the off as I had been unwell in hospital so it was a relax that was far from that. Also noticed the flooring by the bathroom was quite squashy and then in the morning realised why the shower isn’t properly sealed off with not even a closing door so water runs straight under into the room so I had to knock the water off immediately and none of us could shower. We’ve paid a lot of money for past and £250 for this one night it’s not the cheapest of places. I got to be honest wa every disappointed this time

We had a great stay, only thing when we arrive there was food stuck all in the plug of the sink. Not much around had to drive everywhere.

It was a beautiful place, lovely and quiet (apart from the occasional pig oink which in my opinion was adorable), hot tub was great, loads of amenities including the full kitchen. 6 minute drive to the zoo, 12 minute drive to the beach with cheap parking. Absolutely loved the break away.

The pod was well equipped and they had thought of all the little details.

The mattress dipped in the middle but was still quite comfortable.

Please refer to photos. Accommodation smelt of damp and mould throughout stay. Black mould on tiles in the shower (when wet, this ended up on our feet. Customer pays for cleaning…not sure what money was spent on?). Large ugly fence (not shown in advertising photos) as view from hot tub. Uncomfortable bed, thin quilt and pillows. Really hard sofa. Don’t usually leave a review, but in this case, felt I had to as a warning to others. Totally overpriced, unclean, uncomfortable, tired property. Avoid. We left early.

While our stay at the cwtch was enjoyable overall, I feel compelled to mention that it may not be suitable for families with young children, and I believe this should be reflected in its advertisement. Some concerns arose during our stay, particularly regarding safety and hygiene. The bathroom door posed a risk as it frequently trapped the arms and hands of my children when they attempted to open it independently. Additionally, the raised lip at the entrance of the bathroom led to several instances of toe injuries, both for adults and children. Showering also proved to be problematic, as the entire bathroom would become soaked, with water seeping into the living area beneath the door. Furthermore, the garden area, while accommodating for dogs, was excessively muddy, requiring frequent cleanings for both pets and humans alike. Regrettably, there was no outdoor shower available for cleaning dogs, necessitating them to walk through the living area to access the family shower. Additionally, while the jacuzzi is absolutely lovely, guests should be aware that it is not private. Passersby have a clear view into the jacuzzi area, leading to uncomfortable situations, especially when wearing swimwear. This lack of privacy may be a consideration for those seeking a more secluded experience. For the price you pay, I probably wouldn’t visit here again and would opt for a more secluded experience. However, I would like to acknowledge that the pod was very clean, although I suppose when you are paying a cleaning fee, cleanliness should be expected.
