It was great. Really welcoming lovely location. From a Disability point of view I was so impressed at their thoughtful inclusion. It is not a particularly accessible location but they have done everything they can to make it better with bars and grab rails. And a radar key loo accessible from the outside. A lovely touch.

We checked in with Katie who greeted us with the warmth of a family member. She showed us to our room which was much better than the one I booked and explained everything we needed to know about staying at the Lifeboat Inn. Later that evening we met her again as she was the bartender at the hotel restaurant. The food was great and we spent two hours there conversing with another couple who had a couple of cute Bulldogs. The entire staff was helpful and friendly and made our stay exceptional. The next morning we could really appreciate the beautiful water view over bay at St. Ives. Thank you Katie for making our stay unforgettable! One other thing, we had a car and there isn’t any parking at the hotel. You have to park at a remote sight off property but it’s about a 5-10 minute walk to the hotel. Might want to bring a smaller bag.

Great location, sea views, lovely decor throughout. Friendly staff, very good breakfast and coffee.

Parking would have been a bonus but no car parking with hotel.

Breakfast choice was good, and quality fine. The first Breakfast was very slow arriving, but we were not in a hurry fortunately

It was difficult to avoid making most of the bathroom wet, due to the shower design.
