Hotel Puerto Libre Cozumel

I have stayed at Puerto Libre 4 times now, and I will continue to stay there every time I visit the island. I've done the all inclusive resorts, and another smaller hotel, but nothing compares to Puerto Libre. The view is beautiful, the rooms are clean, and it's so conveniently located/walkable. Customer service is top notch.

Loved our room with ocean view, comfortable bed and rain shower head. Only negative the safe did not work, but they did try to fix it. Centrally located, could get noisy outside on Friday and Saturday nights.

Room was great. AC worked & plenty of pillows. Bathroom was clean. Not the best pool for swimming, but enough to cool off. Staff was very nice & helpful with luggage.

If they give you a voucher for a free drink at La Monika, go there and have dinner and watch the sunset!

Beautiful clean hotel and the staff was very friendly and super helpful on places to visit. I will 100% stay here again. The pool area puts the icing on the cake. Heads up it’s on the “strip” near the port so a lot of traffic but nothing noisy and it didn’t bother us.

Just got home from a week stay at Puerto Libre. A beautiful new hotel. The location is great, and it is very close to the main shopping area and several great restaurants. My only complaint is the cleanliness. We stayed here a year ago and the cleanliness has gone downhill. They clearly do not mop the floors between each guest and the towels and bedding had stains on them. The people were kind but forgot on two occasions to bring fresh towels and to fix the air conditioner. They did eventually get around to it. Will probably stay there again but will insist on making sure the room is cleaned better.
