Island Park Lodge

This lodge is a bit dated but the room was comfortable and the bathroom has been refreshed . Dining leaves a lot to be desired and if it hadn’t been so late when we checked in we would have gone elsewhere to eat. We wouldn’t recommend this as a place to eat at any time.

Older property however it was updated and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and nice.

Dont think the price was appropriate for the room. Too high.

Every thing in the room looked new and well kept. We stayed 3 nights and while we were out exploring Yellowstone, the room got a cleaning, restocking, and smelled disinfected fresh when we returned…

This place is nice and not terrible far from West Yellowstone. Our shower wasn't real hot which kind of was a downer but the place is clean and quaint. Has beautiful flowers.

Too far from Yellowstone, stay in Weat Yellowstone.

Clean, appealing room looks nicer than the photo. Room seems rustic but modern and not dated. Enough places to sit and place suitcases and even decorative pillows. Plenty of space to hang clothing; two luggage racks, large hooks (too high!), rack and rod with hangers - all tasteful hardware. Bathroom spacious and first bathroom ever with plenty of space to hang used towels. Large step-in shower. Microwave and refrigerator in room. I like the physical setup of property with walkways. Need lamps in between beds as well as either side. Didn’t try restaurant as we arrived too late for a large meal and breakfast buffet smells delicious, too much food before a day of exploration! Coffee, tea, hot chocolate in lobby but no decaf! I would stay here again, but we want to conserve the back and forth to Yellowstone. Thank you for really good accommodations and to the man in the hot tub in vernal, Utah (if you go to ‘dinosaur land, plan on river rafting with dinosaur river expeditions!) for recommending it.

Nothing we can think of. Can hear loud people beyond our walls. - not for long.
