Restful 1-Bedroom flat in St Helens

The sofa is a sofa bed so not the comfiest but understandable why they have one as I was asked if I needed the extra bed setting up before I arrived

Nice accommodation but the beds could be a tad more comfortable.

This is a perfect location for us. This is our 3rd year going there. Only a few minutes walk from the station and there is a great little cafe up the road for breakfast. Pretty good bus service when you work it out or only half an hour walk to st helens dart shop.

I appreciate the location of this accommodation - close to the train station and you can easily get to the center of St Helens. I appreciate the amount of tea that the accommodation offers.

The communication with the host was very strange. I said I will check in between 7PM and 8PM. While on the airport I received a call from the host at 5PM , if I successfully checked in....and once you have trouble outside their working hours, you will not reach them. We had a trouble finding the accommodation - I recommend to check in with Google maps and actually make sure the address they have matches with the address you give us, because Google shows a completely different house, which can be very misleading. The sofa was very different from what it looked like in the pictures. Waaaay smaller and far from comfortable. I do not understand how can you claim, that 2 people can sleep there. Same goes for the very tiny bed. Next, kitchen is very poorly equipped. I was worried to even use some of the tools as the plates and cups looked disgusting. Obviously, the kitchen equipment is not checked if it was properly washed by the guests. How am I supposed to clean the toilet after I use it? No toilet brush or anything and the "flush" of the toilet barely worked. One should be worried to take their business to that bathroom, and don't let me started on the extremely hot water... I understand this is a flat, that comes without a daily cleaning or any service, but how am I suppose to know, as a foreigner, where should I take out the rubbish after I check out? That is an absolute nonsense rule. I am sorry, but this flat is not worth the money I paid for this accommodation.
