Location but that can’t be helped

Having a pool was great for the children. It's a lovely property for a family get together. Plenty of space.

The property needs a good clean. I wrote my name in the dust in the bedside lamp! lots of dead flies & a strong smell of fish when the patio door was open. The cleanliness of the property was a big disappointment.

Fantastic house with a lot of space to relax. The facilities and bedrooms were perfect for our group. I would recommend the saunas on Oxwich beach if you're brave enough to go for a dip in the sea.

The location was excellent to explore the beautiful Gower. Comfortable accommodation but probably not worth the price tag.

Very rural, sometimes farmyard smells overpowering. We enjoyed our family holiday but there are a few issues the owners should address. The garden is overgrown with weeds, unstable paving slabs with weeds growing through, garden furniture and cushions looks tired, sofa seating actually ripped. Off putting Algae growing in the pool.

Character property, great location although not very easy to find. Nice layout with lots of space for socialising. Two good fridges. Oxwich Bay just a few minutes drive away.

The house felt tired and neglected. Lots of things were broken, and the gardens/drive/patio were unkept with weeds everywhere. It felt like the owner doesn't care about the upkeep/maintenance of the property. Don't expect it to look as nice as the photographs! There is only one proper shower in the property which is a push if you have full occupancy, with a potential of 10 adults. Kitchen wasn't well equipped and not a sharp knife in the place. There are toy baskets just full of rubbish and incomplete games and puzzles, as well as random junk in drawers. The house needs a good sort out, and a bit of TLC and money spending on it. There are two campsites on the road up to the property, so with very narrow roads on steep inclines it can be difficult to negotiate all the traffic with limited passing spaces, so beware if you have a posh big car as you'll be very close to the ragged stone walls which is pretty stressful!

Beautiful house, perfect facilities. We had a wonderful weekend there with family, really made some fabulous memories. We would love to come back again! My daughter described it as paradise! Perfect weekend in a very comfortable beautiful house. The pool was glorious, and we luckily had lovely weather so it was just exactly what we had hoped for!

The only issue was forgetting how low some of the doorways were!

Property was spacious downstairs, plenty of relaxing space for 6 adults and 3 children. Property was clean, everything you need in the kitchen. The pool was the biggest plus, a perfect size for the 9 of us to enjoy the sunshine. Lovely outdoor space.

The low door frames were a real hazard for 5 of the adults all of us banging our heads at some point. I appreciate that these are a feature of the cottage.

Clean and tidy exactly as the photos show. Comfy beds and bedding . clean kitchen and living room. lovely area with nice walk to cove and drive to the 2 beaches.
