Snyder's Knob

We were invited to a wedding at the Millerstown Moose Lodge on 12/13/2024. We’ve never stayed at a bed & breakfast before, so we were not sure what to expect, but the experience was wonderful from check-in to check-out. Joy greeted us at the front door upon arrival. Our room was charming and cozy with a TV and mini fridge. We had a detached, private bathroom right outside our bedroom. Our room also had a sliding glass door that led to a beautiful wrap around porch. Too bad for us it wasn’t warmer weather. This morning we were served our made-to-order breakfast and were able to chat with Joy and her granddaughter, Shania. Ended our stay with a nice hot shower before making the trek home. Thanks for your hospitality, Joy! We really enjoyed ourselves.

Spacious and comfortable. Lovely wooded setting. The hosts served a made to order breakfast daily which was exceptional.

Breakfast was superb. We really wondered whether we were going to find the place after the long, winding road and a dirt road down to the place. It was not fun wondering about it in total blackness..

Could have had a desk and/or a second chair. Didn't like the toilet out in the room, instead of in a bathroom. Would have been nice to have a thermostat in each room instead of one for the whole facility.

Wonderful stay! Lovely large bedroom, king size bed with recliner and hot tub. The log house that was built by the owner is so amazing and the decor is the perfect touch! The detail they put into it reflects their craftsmanship! Relaxing in the main living room looking out to the forest of trees is such a visual splendor. The wraparound porch would be a delight in the summer, I’m sure! Waking up to sizzling bacon, eggs, toast and coffee made to order is a travelers dream😋 The only negative is that we have to leave after just 1 night! Thank you Snyder’s Knob for one of our best retreats!

Joy and Robert are very welcoming and make you feel right at home. Made to order breakfasts were outstanding and we enjoyed meeting the other guests as well while having breakfast. It is quiet and clean! We truly enjoyed our stay here and will be back!

I loved staying at Snyders Knob Bed and breakfast the breakfasts were delicious and the owners Rob and Joy treated me like family. The room and surroundings were so peaceful and calm. I loved walking on the mountains and looking at the different corn fields and surrounding farms. It was a wonderful stay there for ten days. The owners told me what attrvtions to see in and around the area. I stayed here at Snyders Knob BED AND Breakfast from August 1,2024 to August 11.2024 I will stay there again on my next trip to Newport Pennsylvania. Alisa Monteiro

Cozy, bed was comfy, breakfast was great!

The only thing we didn’t like was the openness of the toilet in our room. It did not allow for privacy.
