Facilities were fine

Hotel charged me $100 over the advertised rate at check-in, apparently as a deposit. This was never advertised anywhere. At check-out they did not immediately refund the $100, saying it will be refunded within 5 working days, despite my repeated request. I do not appreciate my money being used by the hotel as it is unwarranted.

Worst location ever.. reaching to any prime location was extremely far. Room heater did not work for all 3 nights and 4 days. Staff was called and he said just use the cooler on 24 degrees because geater does not work. This was very inconvenient in winter and 2 very young kids.

"Exactly what I expected from a courtyard but no decent cafes in the immediate few block radius."

Breakfast was good and what I expected. Room was comfortable and quiet.

The location was a bit out of the way for a solo female business traveler. I was worried that the hotel was going to be loud being next to a fire hall but it was surprisingly quiet.
