Clean room, easy free parking. Fairly noisy area

The stay was good here. We were told by locals area was dangerous so to just stay to ourselves. We liked the liquor store was across the street and gas station had hygiene stuff we needed. Our neighbor that seemed to live there was really nice to us. We doordashed food and had no issues. Also, super close to downtown Chicago.

It was 1 night. Had only interaction with front desk clerk and she was nice. Room was clean. More of a motel vibe.

The ONLY thing I liked about the property was ONE person on staff. The sweet woman at the desk with red hair was so kind and helpful.

Where do i begin. The fact that there is only one lock on the door in the area that this motel is located in is wild to me.. We ended up putting furniture in front of the door because we did not feel safe! There was a man trying to enter our room at one point who ended up sitting outside our door for a whileee. The floor was dirty (not like dusty.. there was literally brown dirt on the floors, the sheets were stained, there was dirt and hair all over the toilet seat and in the toilet, the charger outlets on the night stands weren’t working, there were white handprints all over the door, the room reeked of cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking room to the point that we were coughing all night. Ended up packing up and RUNNING after one night.
