What I loved: Efficient check-in, central and safe location, free and front-row parking, beautiful grounds, historic exterior and interior of the inn, and the clean rooms! What could be better: Snacks/beverages for breakfast could be more varied and the inability to book an additional night at the last-minute (due to no on-site staff during the weekends). Who could blame them for taking Saturday and Sunday off, though?

The property is owned and operated by the college. It’s primarily use is for social functions inside and on the grounds, but also and has ten guest room. The facilities are all very well maintained. The staff members we met were especially friendly and cordial.

I've never stayed in an Inn before and was thrilled to stay in such a beautiful historic building. The rooms have been updated but still have that old charm I love and don't see in modern hotel options.

There were two obstacles in our stay at Surrey Williamson Inn. We never received our room code from Hotels.com. Luckily I called around 5:00 pm and a lovely representative from Skidmore College and the Surrey-Williamson Inn gave it to me. The only housekeeping problem was a dirty towel and was left behind the door in the bathroom. The place was lovely and the rooms were superior.
