Stansted Airport & Bishops Stortford Town Centre Professional Apartment

Great location. Thank you for early check in. Would come back but really needs a good clean throughout. I would recommend a fire stick for TV.

Mattresses are very uncomfortable, one is very low, and the other you can feel the springs. My key dropped under the bed, and went to move bed to find it and it was filthy. No smart TV so unable to use netflix etc. Stairway was very dirty. Front door locks are broken and not easy to use. Even when locked the door has movement. Couldn't find TV control so looked under sofa cushions, and it was covered in animal hair, crumbs, dirt etc. Very unhygienic. This place really needs basic cleaning.

Price very good compared to other apartments I've stayed in in Bishops Stortford. Location also quiet which is surprising when located just off the high street. Property manager also nice to deal with.

My only quibble is that the bed linen was light for the time of year and the low bed in one of the rooms is not suitable for an older person/someone with back problems.

Fire alarm started to warn about bad battery. Kept us awake all night. Had to take it off the wall finally. Didn’t sleep at all! In info it says checkout time 11. 10 o clock we got A text why we hadn’t checked out?? Maybe check your own info? Didn’t get a refund only a lame apologi for the total f&@k up with the fire alarm last night. Since we travelled with a child totally unacceptable that we didn’t sleep at all ! Even if UK standards are lower this is too low. Felt unsafe, the door had a flimsy chain. Then a staircase nu and a door without any lock at all.

Fantastic location, right in the centre of town (behind Tescos) and surprisly quiet. So much space for two of us - you can swing a cat or two! It's brilliant to have a washing machine and fridge too. Nicole is very responsive - even on a Sunday (bless her) to help resolve wifi issues. And on our first stay she quickly addressed a problem with the shower. Top marks, Nicole! PLUS we got free parking when I asked Tescos nicely 😀

The lowset bed is not very comfortable ... it dips in the middle. Maybe needs a new, firmer mattress. The sun streams in, which is nice, but it's probably very hot in summer with no aircon. There may have been a fan but we didn't notice

Clean kitchen equipment very good. Also bathroom toiletries.

The location was central but in a lane with many commercial bins that were overflowing with rotting waste . Beds were not very comfortable. The kettle had been used to boil milk by the previous tenant and was unusable.

Position in town and the facilities provided. Very well equipped

Nothing except due to the exceptionally hot weather, the apartment was stiflingly hot and air con or a fan would have been helpful

Very central & surprisingly quiet for its town centre location

Location is ideal. Spacious and bright apartment. We will be back!
