"Very cute room in Caen"

The host is very nice, helpful and responsive. The room was quaint, nicely furnished including a very comfortable bed and the bathroom was spacious. Greatly appreciate the water and coffee pods. Breakfast was good value at 15€ pp. Caution for people with mobility issues/large luggage - our room was at the top of the house - you need to go up 3 flights of circular stairs.

Being in the gables one had to be very careful not to bang your head on the rafters.

"Lovely and rustic stay close to everything."

The location and the authenticity of the venue were wonderful. Our late arrival wasn’t an issue because they left the key in a lock-box. There was a lovely and very filling breakfast served downstairs with real china, glassware, silverware and cloth napkins. Nice touch. It would have been perfect to sit out in the courtyard to enjoy it but it was a bit too chilly for that. Lastly, there was plenty of parking just outside the property.

I’m used to places with no elevator but this was a new low. Our room was in the attic which meant navigating 4 flights of stairs with our bags on a very steep and tight stone spiral staircase. That was harrowing.
