"Great place to stay in the Quepos area."

10.0

The name was no joke. Macaws were almost constantly visible. We also saw monkey's (titi, capuchin, and howler) and all kinds of other birds (Toucan, Aracari, Motmot...).The house was very clean, almost everything you could need was provided. The pool was great for cooling off. The front desk crew was courteous and helpful. Gustavo mans the gate and always greats you with a smile. The AC and intenet worked great. We had no problems and will definitely be back.

"This was our first vacation in the tropics. It was a great way to start!"

8.0

Being nestled in the trees with views of the abundant wildlife in every direction was ideal. There was plenty of room for two couples to spread out inside and outside (balcony on one side and patio on the other). The beds were comfortable; the closet and drawer space was fine. Andres and his cohorts in the Manuel Antonio Estates office were fantastic in addressing all our requests and questions. They were always cheerful and were so responsive. They arranged tours and taxis for us. They sent someone to fix our dishwasher and a broken patio chair immediately. We felt very well taken care of from the time we started planning our stay until our final day.

A couple petty things: There were not any good reading lamps, and the lights were too dim to read in the evening. One tip - bring a headlamp. Also, there was not enough silverware, so we often had to wash a few items by hand. For some in our party, the steep walks up and down from our house were too much. The location was perfect for wildlife but less than perfect for casual strolling around and for walking into town. (We're mid-70s and better.)
