Captain's Table Hotel by Everglades Adventures

Only thing was odd that you had to check in at the ivey house hotel , Also the door to the balcony needs the key card if you step out and have thrown your key card on the desk bed or wherever you could get locked out

We stayed one night here on the way to the gulf coast and wanted to try an airboat ride. Everglades city is a sleepy sweet little old Florida town with friendly people and very peaceful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The 2 girls at the front desk at The Ivy house (where you have to check in) were very nice and helpful. We did a Captain Jacks' airboat ride and it was an amazing experience! We ate at The Cafe for lunch (very good) and heard live music at The Gator hole at night. Everyone is very nice in town, we enjoyed it.

Clean spacious

Needed a hook somewhere in the bathroom.

Proximity to the Everglades and Activities, the kitchen was great, clean enough

In general, it was rundown and overpriced

Location was close to the things I was interested in. Clean.

Remote did not work. Comcast connection, were off and on. Broadband tv cables were. Hanging if a ball of tangled wires. Receptionists were about a mile away from where our room was located, and unavailable without a drive, and no one available in the night
