Hotel Dvorac Jurjevec

Wonderful place: hystorical palace with a beautiful garden, very well maintained. The room and the bathroom are wide with a lot of windows and a enchanting view on the countryside. The restaurant is elegant. The personnel is kind. Beautiful the indoor swimming pool.

I hurt myself by banging my big toe against the threshold of the bathroom door, which has about a cm difference in level with the corridor. It would be good to point out the small, invisible step.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and attempted to accommodate us. Architecturally, the hotel is a unique Croatian design.

When I booked the room, I keyed in 1) airport shuttle; 2) breakfast; 3) close to the airport; 4) pool. Turns out, the hotel does not have a shuttle, nor did they assist us in obtaining one. The hotel is quite far from the airport. Really, no reason to stay there if your parameters are to be close to the airport. The taxi was over 50 euros because of the distance. Breakfast was good. The photos showed a beautiful outdoor pool. It was closed and covered in green algae. However, there was an indoor pool. I tried to order white wine off of the menu. They had no idea what I was asking, even when I pointed to the entry on the menu. All in all, a frustrating stay.

Cleanliness of the toilets. Food expensive - one steak was unfortunately very hard cooked and the side dish was cold.

Great staff. Basic breakfast. Coffee and eggs cooked to your liking. you just need to ask. Rooms and facilities were perfect.

It's in the middle of nowhere. Dinner was very expensive.
