Hotel Dvorac Jurjevec

The property and grounds are lovely, and well-maintained. The food was good and imaginative, although breakfast was a bit predictable. The rooms are clean and sufficiently spacious.

Curtains on the bathroom windows would help to ensure privacy. Mosquito netting would also be helpful, so that rooms can be aired at night.

It happened to find this hotel because of a flight cancellation in Zagreb. However it was a nice surprise, and altough I had to leave at 4:30 in the morning the owner was there to offer coffee.

It might be strange drive up to the location, but once you are there. Good lord is this a fantastic hotel! These people are fantastically friendly and lovingly.

Not much really, this is the country side, so there where some bugs in the room, but again: that makes sense for such a rural location.

Too much lighting in the room, could not sleep. Very bright blue and green electronic light.
