Sea view cottage walk to beach dog friendly

Lovely spot on a beautiful coast. Close to Harlech beach. Spacious home to spend a weekend. Comfy beds, had good facilities for cooking meals, lovely garden seating to have an evening glass of bubbly. Only issue was the smell of dog in the living room, which gradually cleared if we left the front door open.

The location was excellent. Much better to be outside of Harlech and close to the beach. An easy walk for my daily morning swim and the views were stunning.

Picture postcard cottage in a great location for a quiet break. A short walk to two beaches and shops and restaurants within a 5 min drive. The owners are easy to deal with and responsive. There's plenty of information in the cottage folder, and a welcome hamper with some essentials to start. We were able to get a Tesco food delivery which saved us a job so we could relax after our long journey. Plenty of room for parking on the driveway. The cottage was cosy and comfortable, with everything you need. The kitchen was well equipped, like a home from home. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped. The living room is lovely with a fireplace and plenty of seating options. The garden front and back is furnished with well established shrubs and plenty of seating options which all have views of the ocean. The location is quiet and peaceful, just what we needed. We used the cottage as a base and travelled to various places as far as South Stack lighthouse, The National Slate Museum, Caernarfon Castle, Ffestiniog steam railway from Porthmadog, Portmeirion, RAF Valley, and Barmouth. Locally Harlech Castle and the Llanfair Slate caverns. Also, the Mach loop is not far away for aircraft enthusiasts. We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage and we're happy to recommend it. We will consider returning in the future.

The views from Bwthyn Nain were stunning. The cottage was very well equipped for the dogs as well as accompanying humans. The welcome hampers were delicious and so appreciated, especially by the dogs!! Helpful information folder with eating out ideas and useful information. Lovely communication with the owners.

There was no information for the bin men, so this didn't get emptied.

Well, fitted kitchen and comfortable lounge with various seating options

Low beam into kitchen could catch tall people and stairs are a bit creaky but it is an old place with lots of lovely character

The cottage was in such a beautiful position looking to the sea. Our welcome basket of Welsh cakes biscuits fizz and beer was a lovely touch thank you. Llandanwg beach was a decent walk from the cottage with Harlech beach just round the corner We were visiting Port Meirion for my birthday and Porthmadog so we were in easy reach of all places and went on the Ffestioniog railway having driven to Porthmadog to get the train to Blaenau Ffestiniog. Yvette our host was very helpful before we departed suggesting places eateries etc which we visited and were not disappointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage and would recommend to family and friends and hopefully revisit sometime in the future. Thank you Yvette and Simon

Beautiful garden with views across to the sea. Comfortable living space and bedrooms. Well equipped and spacious kitchen. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating. Perfect cottage for break in Wales.
