Historic Tremain Cottages

I love everything about this place. This is our second time in the Garden cottage and it was as clean, beautiful as it was 3 years ago. The location is outstanding, a few blocks away from historic downtown and the famous Lakeside Inn hotel which has an amazing restaurant. The cottage had everything we needed and is beautifully decorated. We loved sitting out in the covered porch!! Great experience!!

I really liked everything... maybe a little more upkeep towards the back area.

COULD NOT GET THE INTERET TO WORK SO I HAD TO USE MY PHONE FOR A HOTSPOT.

The cottage is very charming, bringing back fond memories of how we lived in our childhood It's not luxurious but perfectly clean and comfortable. Our party of four siblings spent just one night but would have enjoyed a longer stay.

There is nothing to not like. It is a historic cottage and lives up to the name. If you are looking for luxury and high tech, then go elsewhere.

Location was good. Only a few min walk to downtown. Good price.

Bathroom was small. I'm 6'4" and the toilet was jammed in the bathroom with little room to maneuver. Farmhouse/country kind of vibe was nice, but the stains in the sink and on the ceiling need to be addressed

Extremely convenient to walk downtown.

Great property. We were downstairs so could hear people in upstairs unit and outside stairway.

It is spacious with a full kitchen and a separate sitting area. It is great walking distance from all the cute shops and million eateries.

The bathroom is oddly configured to where you can't sit normally on the toilet. The walls/floors are very thin. We were in the Nantucket, and whomever was above us apparently did not have a great night or morning, as we heard every step, cabinet door, and word of their exchanges. It was like they were stomping in combat boots or tap shoes while hollering to one another.

Perfect spot , quick walk to downtown. Quiet neighborhood. Has all that you need for a couple nights stay.

Could be helpful to have a second mirror hanging so someone can continue to get ready while someone else is using bathroom.

I would probably suggest upgraded bed linens and bathroom towels/amenities. Quite a bit of neighbor noise overnight and the assigned parking place was mostly blocked.
