Once Upon A Tide Oceanview Condo Pet Friendly

The Condo was very clean, spacious, BEAUTIFUL and in a great location for Beach time (My mother has a hard time getting around and with a short walk up a ramp she was toes deep in sand watching the waves) and dining out or just running to the store! If you stay here soon and score unit 4 check the cabinets under the bar… we left a bunch of beach toys and a boogie board for future families to enjoy! ❤️ The lady that cleans the units is so kind and was very professional! We will definitely be back!

Nothing! It was absolutely perfect

The beach front location was great. Nothing better than heading out and walking less than 75 yards and being on the beach, which was not packed at all. One of the cleaning ladies was kind enough to provide us with new bed linens and a broom/dustpan to sweep sand (See "What didn't you like" section below).

The check-in email arrived three days before we checked-in to the unit and advised that there would be some road construction occurring on the street the condo unit was located on. The road construction turned out to be major sewer line repairs/replacements that started promptly at 8:00 AM and involved several large pieces of construction machinery and large pieces of concrete sewer components placed all over the street. This resulted in the there being no paved road, but rather a path of dirt and mud to and from the unit. Once inside, the first floor couch was dirty, the dining room wall had some pretty good gouges in the drywall, the bed linens smelled musty, and we could find no broom/dustpan with which to sweep dirt and sand. A couple of the wall plugs were not properly secured to the wall. The kitchen cabinets were still full of food from previous guests. The first floor couch was thin and dirty. The bathroom had a toilet in the middle of the room between the sink and the shower with hardly any space on either side. Two sliding glass doors on the second floor, one which locked fine, the other needed just a tug to be pulled open with the locking mechanism engaged. Since our kids were upstairs, I resorted to getting a piece of scrap wood from the construction outside to use as a blocking piece to prevent the door from being pried open from outside. The walls are paper thin, which means you can hear the other unit tenants walking around, talking, laughing, etc. This would be fine if you're a night owl, but if you been out all day doing things with your family and want to enjoy your sleep time, you may or may not have peace and quiet depending on who is staying on either side of you. We did notice that we were the longest tenants for the week we were there (and we left a day early!). Overall, the location was awesome, but the quality of the accommodations failed to meet our expectations.

The condo was only steps away from the beach. It was clean and comfortable. TVs in every room plus one upstairs in extra living area. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was great!

besides being right at the beach, the inside of the condo was beautiful and very comfortable. definitely will book again!

Clean, very big and only a couple of steps to the beach walkway. Great value for the location

Parking was a little challenging, perhaps mark the spaces to the units?
