Áurea Casa Palacio Sagasta by Eurostars Hotel Company

This hotel was just WOW! I am so impressed by everything. As soon as you entered the lobby, we were greeted with a refreshing station with water, wine and bubbly and some fruits and sweets. I was able to get an upgrade by my Genius points and the room we were put into exceeded our expectations. It felt like a suite, with a spacious chilling area, a big king bed which after days of travelling felt like a big comfy cloud, and 2 TVs (which my bf LOVED). The bathroom had a bathtub and big comfy robes and slippers. Little details that made our stay unforgettable was the decoration in our room for our 1 year anniversary, hand written card and some chocolate and gummies. We stayed 2 nights, were able to walk around the city and had the best time. When we checked out, the receptionist gave us 2 water bottles and some extra snacks for the road. I was so impressed by the level of detail and care that it will be hard to top.

Apart from not being able to park at the hotel the parking worked quite well. Short walk from underground parking to hotel. It's a lovely Palace carefully restored which for years was the British Embassy. Only breakfast served but tapas bars/restaurants abound nearby.

Llegué con muy pocas expectativas (y también con mucha curiosidad), porque a veces las fotografías no reflejan la realidad. Sin embargo, desde el momento en que pisé la recepción, me di cuenta de que estaba ante un lugar increíble. La ubicación es excelente, en pleno centro y muy cerca de los aparcamientos de la ciudad. Además, recibí una mejora de habitación a través de Booking y, cuando entré, me quedé sin palabras. Es un lugar verdaderamente único, donde cada detalle está cuidadosamente pensado. Cada rincón del hotel cuenta una historia; muchas cosas han pasado entre esas paredes y me siento profundamente agradecido por haber tenido la oportunidad de dormir allí. La habitación en la que me alojé contaba con una terraza con una de las mejores vistas de Cádiz. Tomar un café allí por la mañana fue como vivir un sueño. Volver es una de mis asignaturas pendientes. Valoro enormemente que existan lugares así en el mundo.

This was a really nice and well designed hotel. The rooms were comfortable and thankfully the windows were thick enough to completely block out any outside noise. We used the spa during our stay (this was an extra and we wish the use had been included with the price)

The breakfast was ok but nothing special

very central in the old town, walking distance to bars restaurants the spa was lovely after a long day in the sunshine. breakfast was excellent staff were attentive especially Bea

L'emplacement, l'amabilité du personnel, le confort de la chambre, la déco épurée même si nous avons regretté qu'il n'y ait pas de poutres dans notre chambre (N°205) et que les arcades et colonnes du hall d'entrée qui donnaient beaucoup de chic aient disparu ...

Le bruit de la rue mais si on ferme la fenêtre double vitrage et que l'on met la climatisation on n'entend quasiment plus rien...
