Staff was fabulous and knowledgeable.

The smell of the room was horrible, smell like cigarette smoke, nor for some one that does not smoke.

They double charged me for valet parking

Very discreet, semi-noise proof rooms( great for traveling businesses or recording), nothing was stolen unlike at the doubletree.

How it was close to canal st and other attraction

The AC wasn’t working fully the air vent was leaking water right under the toilet and didn’t notice it until I had to use the bathroom and was feeling the water leaking on me but the stay was decent that was my only issue.

The staff was amazing, very welcoming, nice and informative. However, the facility was real basic. Just average, no frills, nothing to write home about. My friend said she has stayed at other Canopy’s in other cities and they were at a higher standard which is why she suggested the Canopy in New Orleans. We were both underwhelmed by the facility.

I found the bathroom layout to be poorly designed. The large shower door made it difficult to move around in the limited space, especially with the toilet positioned so close. The towel hooks were placed behind the door, which was inconvenient—after showering, I had to fully step out, close the shower door, and maneuver around the toilet just to reach a towel. Additionally, the sink wasn’t angled properly, causing water to pool on the countertop and soak nearby items. The room lighting was also very dim, and there weren’t enough mirrors, which made getting ready a challenge. The refrigerator was not operable and there were stains on the couch and peeling paint on the floors.
