I loved the location.

It doesnt have the best smell. Smells a bit damp

Proximity to restaurants, beach, shopping centres and the host (Clive) was very helpful. It was clean and well stocked with creature comforts.

That we don’t own it and that checkout was an hour earlier than other properties.

Right at Big Bay. Plenty of great restaurants on the doorstep.

Blinds in the main area did not work correctly.

We had to arrange for colluegues to meet the host to collect keys as we had a late arrival

I think the value for money is good, but the apartments are very small compared to what we are used to.

Location excellent - close access to restaurants and beach. Bed and pillows comfortable. Office responsive to issues (except check in).

- Check in - we called the host as instructed for 45 minutes before we arrived but he did not answer. We continued to call him and the office for 30 minutes after we arrived before the office sent the host a message and he arrived. He said his phone was playing up. The same thing happened when we tried to check out - I texted him and he arrived. This was a terrible start to our holiday after having travelled for 24 hours. - Blinds in the apartment are quite tatty and old, carpet looks dirty, stains on the couches. - Cockroaches! We had running battles with cockroaches. I understand this may be from the complex - however, other family members were staying in a nearby apartment in the same complex and had no cockroach issues. There were a lot of small ones in the cupboards and some enormous ones that we think crawled up the drains. - Maintenance - we sent a list of issues on the second day. The following were sorted out promptly (but should have been fixed before we arrived): the front door gate and door locks needed replacing; both toilets had broken flush mechanisms; both bathroom sinks didn't drain; a plug point in the kitchen wasn't working. The coffee machine wasn't working and was not fixed - their solution was to put it at the top of the cupboard! - It was very hot when we arrived, so I asked if we could get a fan - one promptly arrived, but was new and in the box, so I had to assemble it late at night (luckily I travel with a Swiss Army knife!) This really should have been assembled for us. - Noisy transformer outside bedroom window that kept us awake (had to use earplugs every night) Overall, not a great experience. The flat is very small for the price and feels tired and old - made worse by the fact that other family members stayed in an apartment in the same block for almost the same price but the apartment was double the size and very stylishly furnished - and their host arrived to check them in timeously!

How close it was to restaurants and the beach. My children enjoyed the blue down lights. I was impressed that it had a Smart TV.

I would have enjoyed it a bit more if it had a better view of the beach, but we were so close to the beach we just took a stroll.
