Hotel Otto

This was the cutest little place!! We loved our stay. They had it nice and toasty for us when we arrived since it was cold that day!! There were a few issues I found as far as cleanliness but they were minor. Definitely would stay here again.

Amazing hotel!! We loved everything about this place!! The story behind it makes it even better! Staff is super friendly, efficient and helpful. Entire facility is amazing! Very clean and well kept. Room was so cute with lots of wonderful details, small and large. Bed was comfy and cozy on a cold night. We will definitely stay here again!!

I tried contacting the property twice to let them know we would be arriving late, left message and emailed, no one returned my call. We got there after 10:30 pm and found out the manager leaves the property at a certain which was my concern and why I tried reaching out. What would we have done if we had gotten there after she left?!? We requested a new set of towel because we were out in the ADA cabin so the bathroom is set up so a wheelchair can get in, everything was getting wet, so we called for fresh towels said they were bringing them, no one showed up, called back and said they forgot and was bringing them now. Other than that it was a unique stay

Very unique stay place! All staff are the nicest ever! The food is not my style but that’s just me. We had a very nice stay!!!

The place is fun and the restaurant has delicious appetizers. The pool was warmish for new years weekend. We enjoyed sitting by the pool with our complimentary Aperol Spritz. Ours not find where to get more ice when the restaurant is closed, no refills of the coffee pods( we were there 3 days) beds have super soft mattress toppers that make it like gymnastics to get over your spouse to go to the restroom. All of us (we had 3 rooms) took them off. It was nice however to sit on the rooftops and drink after we went and bought more ice and sparkling wine to finish the Aperol.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Otto and ate at Gemelle on 12/28/24. We were on time for our 6:45p reservation, and there were delays on every course - appetizers, pasta, and dessert. We waited 30 minutes for our appetizer, and our server came to apologize and let us know there was a problem with the pizza dough and it was being remade - but there was never any offer to comp any element of the meal. Then, at 1 AM, we heard a barrage (approximately 14) of gunshots outside our room. It was loud, and scary enough for us to immediately pack our bags and leave the hotel at approximately 1:15 AM. There is no member of the Hotel Otto staff on premises after the restaurant closes so there was no one for us to speak with about this issue that evening. We called the hotel the next morning, and were told that a manager needed to call us back the next day. There was no attempt to contact us for almost 5 days - after which I called and finally spoke with someone. The manager attempted to downplay our fears, and chalk the noise up to fireworks. After a back and forth about the disappointing experience at the restaurant and the distressing evening at the hotel, the Hotel Otto staff is refusing a refund (claiming their contracted agreements prohibits reimbursements) and has offered a 50% discount to return to the hotel for a re-do. Suffice to say we will not be spending any more money for them to attempt to make this right with us.

Cleverly done and really enthusiastic, warm and helpful hosts who were great. The rooms are a great use of a small space. Sound insulation isn’t great so you are at the mercy of your neighbour’s late night fire pit but I suspect that’s the charm

The container concept for the rooms is brilliant! The containers feel very secure, and Hotel Otto has created a community feel to the venue. The staff is super friendly and helpful. And it was so nice to be greeted with a cocktail after our long drive. I highly recommend Hotel Otto to anyone who is tired of the sterile and uncreative environment of chain hotels.

Such a fun place to stay if going to a concert at Dickies Arena!
