"Nice hotel bad staff"

The hotel is self was nice.

The staff was lacking. Check-in was laughable. The clerk didn't know what he was doing. Tried to charge me even after I booked and paid in online. However, he couldn't seem to grasp that. He was so flustered with the line gathered that was needing something he couldn't seem to get himself together. He stated that the cleaning staff had been so busy they hadn't had time to wash pool towels and could only offer minimal bath towels. How long does it take to throw towels in the washer while you continue to work on other things and then change it to the dryer. He was on the phone with someone telling them he didn't feel comfortable doing whatever they were asking him to do. He should have been left alone if he was unsure about his job. We had been driving for 10 hrs and wanted a good night sleep to finish another 10 hr drive. However, at 5:30 AM, our neighbor room alarm clock woke us up and continued non-stop for 35 minutes! Even with us calling to the front desk twice, we got no help from the staff and had to bang on the wall to get them to stop their alarm. Not being able to go back to sleep, we got up and got ready to start our day after only a few hours of sleep. The front desk assured us we would be contacted by management about our complaint but still no contact from them and I don't held my breath. They staff was not competent, and I will be contacting corporate.
