Bright Holiday Flat in Mellieha

Good location close to many snorkeling and swimming spots, dive shop around the corner. You could walk up the hill to the city center and look outs in about 15min. Kitchen good equipped with many tools for cooking. Later check out possible (after we had a belated check in)

- fully check in 90 min to late as bed sheets and towels were missing and then the guy needed nearly one hour to set everything in place and even forgot one blanket - rooms were smelly (sweat & parfume) - one set of sheets looked and smelles used - customer service hard to reach/does not react in time: requested the missing cover for the big blanket the next day but no one got back to us, delivery two days later at 9:30 pm ! after several requests via call/whatsapp and booking.com plus it was to small and ripped on the sides - all (!) moskito nets were broken, first night was horrorible before we found out - requested tape, they brought not gaffer tape but for packing which was kind of useless to get the holes fixed - many things were broken (shower curtain, shower holder so you needed to hold the shower) - apartment was only superficially clean - no cloth for cleaning surfaces/table in the kitchen just paper - no given possibility to separate garbage (we made our own then) - no light in the staircase Would be nice to have a little table in the balkony.

Didn’t really affect us but up quite a steep hill and on 2nd floor so wouldn’t be suitable for those with accessibility issues unless you’re ok to get a bolt/uber everywhere

We spent there 11 nights as the family. The flat located perfectly in quiet and safe area, 5 minutes on foot from the bus stop in both directions and 10 minutes from the small supermarket, where you can find everything in the reasonable prices (they give drinking water for free if you pay more). Near (you can get there on foot) there is the most beautiful sandy beach in Malta. The main, common door not numbered so when coming at 3 a.m. it was difficult to find- I advise to add picture with the entrance to the flat gallery 😊 The flat is well equipped but furnished with worn out furniture. The equipment is old, but you find there almost everything you need, even the sun umbrella and some beach toys for children. There is not only cloths hanger for wet towels or laundry, so we had to buy the clothesline. Rooms are very small and quickly get stuffy and hot (you can't close doors) but beds are comfortable, air conditioning works impeccable and there are 2 electric fans in addition. Bed clothes was clean but torn at the seams, one towel worn out that we had doubts if it was a floor cloth. The electric kettle should be changed as is rusty inside. The apartment was tidy but not clean-the cleaning service should take care of countertop strips, clean of fronts of kitchen cabinets and sweep the balcony after each guest. The apartment looks better in the pictures than in reality (besides the bathroom). Zzzing agency was responsive (and even had provided bottle of water as we arrived in the night) until we asked for the cloths hanger-here contact stopped although they had proposed to bring it what did not happen.

Cockroaches are in the flat-you can’t leave any food anywhere. We kept everything in the fridge. Transparent garbage bags for those who sort garbage would be useful. Two gas bottles on the balcony in the sun heat terrified us us but people live there like this.

The place was clean. Location was good, right next to the bus station and close to the beach.

The bed was uncomfortable and the TV didnt work well. There were cockroaches in the apartment but the staff were helpful and sprayed the place when I informed them of the roaches.

DISASTER! There was a disgusting smell coming from the cabinets in the kitchen. Especially under the sink came extreme stench. There was also a mould smell. At night COCKROACHES appeared… The worst part was the host promised to clean the flat during our stay while we were in the beach, however they did NOTHING.

It was quite clean

We didn't like location, old funiture, tv is very bad, on the wall watch was not changed batarry, no salt or oil for cooking, no clothers to clean table just paper towers. Apartment is a bit old, for this money too expensive

It was clean, nice and tidy. Everything that you need is there. Very satisfied☺️

The floor in the bathroom is quite slippery so it could be nice to have kind of a rubber rug there.

It was well organised and really clean place Quite environment and close to shops

No AC's in the bedroom

Comfortable located apartment in a quite area with balcony.Lovely premises, very clean, tidy, with everything you need and a very helpful staff.Good connection if you use the community transport. I would definitely recommend this apartment if you are passing through Mellieha
